“BELOW AVERAGE” RATES

FOR CONSULTING FIRMS

Based on the “Independent Source” rates at http://solutionsocc.com/ratesfromanindependentsource.htm, any rate lower than $80/hour W2 is a “below average” rate.

“Below average” rates require that the consulting firm include in the contract the following clause:

ASSURANCE CLAUSE: The consulting firm promises the consultant that they will not charge the client any more than 133% (1⅓ to be precise) of what they are paying the consultant.
